Tim Lester is a corporate and finance specialist with almost 30 years of experience in providing strategic advisory services, transactional consulting and legal counsel services to clients throughout the world. He is the co-founder and principal of specialist multi-disciplinary advisory firm Jameson Boyce Partners.
Mr Lester was one of the launch partners for Hogan Lovells Australian practice which commenced operations in 2015. He led the firm's corporate finance practice in Australia. Prior to that, Mr Lester was the head of the Japan sector and a partner of Allens for more than seven years, and a partner at Hogan Lovells where he spent 13 years across its London, Hong Kong and Tokyo offices prior to relocating to Australia in 2008.
Mr Lester is a governor of the WA Museum Foundation. He was an executive committee member of the Australia Japan Business Cooperation Committee, board member of the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade’s Australia Japan Foundation, chair of The University of Western Australia Business School’s Ambassadorial Council, and member of the Attorney General’s International Legal Services Advisory Council.
