Orica has acquired Canning Vale-based tech company Axis in a deal worth $260 million, the latest in a spate of strategic investments for the mining services business.
Orica has made a $20 million-plus investment in mining technology by purchasing WA companies RIG Technologies, from Wallis Drilling, and Hopper Industrial Group.
