Thomas Tuchyna

Thomas Tuchyna trained as a radiation therapist and a medical physicist in Australia, and has worked in various areas of health within the public and private sector for over 20 years.
He was involved in setting up the Western Australia government cyclotron, working at the facility for 8 years, initially as the principal physicist before administering all of the centre’s activities. Mr Tuchyna was involved in the establishment of a cyclotron/radiopharmaceutical facility and a linear accelerator centre in Jakarta for the Mochtar Riady Comprehensive Cancer Centre. He later directed the establishment of a Comprehensive Cancer Centre in Western Australia.
