Tanya Adair was the acting executive director of procurement, infrastructure and contract management at the North Metropolitan Health Services (NMHS), having undertaken acting duties for the former role of executive director strategy, planning and redevelopment from her substantive role of area director, capital. She became the acting executive director for infrastructure & major capital projects at the Department of Health in March 2020 before returning to the North Metropolitan Health Service in July 2021 as executive director of major infrastructure projects.
Prior to that, Ms Adair worked in a variety of roles in WA Health, including a considerable period for the WA Country Health Service in the Kimberly region, and has extensive experience in capital project development and management spanning more than 13 years including her appointment as the State Representative for the delivery of the Midland Health Campus Design and Construction project.
Ms Adair has a Bachelor of Business (Management) from the University of Notre Dame Australia and two Graduate Certificates in Project Management and Professional Accounting.
She was selected as one of three NMHS nominees for the 2016-17 Emerging Leader’s Program sponsored collaboratively by the Institute for Health Leadership, Australian Institute of Management, and the University of Western Australia.
