Steve Martin is a Liberal Party Member of the Western Australia Legislative Council for the Agricultural Region.
Following the 2021 WA state elections, Mr Martin became the Shadow Minister for housing and forestry. In February 2023, following the succession of Libby Mettam as leader of the WA LIberal Party, Mr Martin was appointed the parliamentary secretary of the Party and held the same portfolios following the formation of the National-Liberal Alliance. He then took over from Steve Thomas as deputy leader of the WA Liberal Party in February 2024, and the shadow planning portfolio in March 2024.
