Stephen Lyons is a business-focused finance executive with over 25 years of international experience as chief executive, managing director, chief financial officer and a variety of other roles with numerous listed and unlisted companies in Australia, London and China.
He is an Australian chartered accountant by profession, and was based in Beijing China for 8 years as managing director, leading approvimately $300 million market cap, ASX-listed China Gas Play, Sino Gas & Energy, from a startup through significant asset growth, its IPO and listing on the ASX, and to the sale of 51% of its assets to a Chinese group.
Mr Lyons has a passion for working with start-ups on new ideas and a strong interest in the energy sector. He also has a particular interest in assisting SMBs make the transformation into a 'new tech' world and is an investor himself in that sector.
