Simon Avenell is an economist by training and has been a consultant, co-founder and chief operating officer

Mr Avenell has been the chief operating officer of startup agribusiness InterEarth since July 2019. Prior to that, he spent over 10 years with PwC as a principal and partner, and 3 years as a principal of Mainsheet Corporate.

Mr Avenell holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Murdoch University, and a PhD in Economics from the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
