Sherif Andrawes is the Global Natural Resources & Energy Leader, a role that encompasses the services BDO provides to clients in the mining, oil and gas, and renewables sectors worldwide. Mr Andrawes is also BDO’s National Co-Leader for Sustainability.
He has over 35 years of experience in executive leadership, corporate advisory, and finance roles in Australia and Europe.
Mr Andrawes commenced his career in 1987 with BDO in London, he moved to Perth permanently in 1997 and was admitted as a Corporate Finance Partner of BDO in 2001.
In 2007, Mr Andrawes was appointed as the head of BDO’s Corporate Finance & Deal Advisory team and in 2009 he became the Chairperson of BDO in Western Australia, a position that he held until 2018.
Mr Andrawes is recognised as a Fellow of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand (CAANZ) and the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales, as well as a CA BV (Business Valuation) Specialist as recognised by CAANZ.
