Sharon Devir
Executive Director, Business Development / Roots Sustainable Agricultural Technologies
Dr Sharon Devir is a co-founder of Roots Sustainable Agricultural Technologies, and had previously been its chief executive and chair. He also co-founded Sailcrop, an abiotic stress seed treatment technology, as well as Rimonim which is an agritech fund. Based in Israel, Dr Devir has lectured at the Hebrew University in the Faculty of Agriculture. His achievements have been acknowledged by the 'Man Of The Year' award from Israeli TV Channel 2 and the daily newspaper for his unique social contribution. Dr Devir holds a PhD in Agriculture and Environmental Sciences from Waginingen University in the Netherlands, as well as a BSc and MSc from the Technion-Israel Institute of Technology.
