Scott Ellis practises as a third-party neutral in commercial disputes, arbitrating, mediating, and acting as an expert determiner and adjudicator under the Construction Contracts Act, 2004. He also appears as counsel in commercial disputes. Mr Ellis is a Fellow of the Australian Centre for International Commercial Arbitration, a Fellow and Chartered Arbitrator of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators and of Resolution Institute. He is a senior sessional member of the State Administrative Tribunal, a member of the Anti-Dumping Review Panel (Commonwealth), a member of the panel of Legal Experts of the Electricity Review Board, and the Acting Corruption and Crime Commissioner. Mr Ellis has prepared more than 100 awards and decisions, with an estimated total of more than $500 million in those matters.
