Roy McKelvie is the chairman of the Investment Board of AMB Capital Partners. Mr McKelvie has over 25 years of experience in investment management and private equity in Australia, Asia, UK and Continental Europe. He has worked across multiple sectors including financial services, resources, retail, business services and FMCG. Mr McKelvie began his career in development and operational roles for two multinational companies in the packing and textile industry before joining the 3i Group where he led over 60 transactions. He then served as managing director and Asian Head of Deutsche Bank Capital Partners in Hong Kong. Following this, he was the managing director and chief executive of Gresham Private Equity, as well as a director and member of the executive committee of Gresham Partners. More recently, Mr McKelvie was chief executive of Transfield Holdings. Mr McKelvie is currently non-executive director of Transfield Services, Schiehallion Partners and chair of Condor Energy Services. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Production Engineering from the University of Strathclyde (UK), an MBA from the University of Edinburgh Business School (UK), and has completed the Senior Investors Program at INSEAD (France).
