Roger Corbett

Roger Corbett AO has been involved in the retail industry for more than 40 years. In 1984, Mr Corbett became operations director at David Jones Australia. In 1990, he became managing director of Big W and was appointed to the board of Woolworths where he subsequently became chief executive in 1999 until his retirement in 2006. Mr Corbett has been chair of Fairfax Media since 2009 and was also on the boards of the Reserve Bank of Australia, Wal-Mart Stores and PrimeAg Australia.
