CZR Resources has committed to a DFS on the proposed development of its Robe Mesa iron ore project in WA's Pilbara region. The company says the study will evaluate the mining, haulage and export of Robe Mesa direct shipping ore, with the latter to also be weighed up with a port facility being developed at Beadon Creek in Onslow as an alternative to Port Hedland.

CZR Resources has managed to punch its way through almost half the planned 5,000m reverse circulation drilling program being undertaken at its 85 per cent-owned Buddadoo gold project in WA despite heavy rain. The company recently completed 24 holes for 2,298m on the first of several priority prospects straddling the Salt Creek shear in its project area on the Gullewa greenstone belt.

The use of Onslow port drastically reduces the haulage distance from the mine gate to port.

In one of WA's hottest new gold plays, CZR Resources has made another high-grade discovery in a shallow drill hole at the Top Camp prospect at its Pilbara-based Croydon project, located 75km west-south-west of De Grey Mining's stunning Hemi gold deposit. The latest drill hit returned a healthy 2m at 22 g/t gold from 7m, including 1m at 42.2 g/t gold.

ASX-listed gold hopeful, Coziron Resources, has followed up a high-grade discovery drill hole at the Top Camp prospect at its Croydon project with an encouraging gold hit in what is fast becoming one of WA's hottest gold exploration districts. The Perth-based gold explorer's Top Camp discovery sits about 75km west-south-west of the distending Hemi gold deposit discovered by De Grey Mining in the Mallina region in the Pilbara.

Coziron Resources will soon have an RC rig spinning up a storm at its Croydon gold project in WA's Pilbara region after the company's maiden drill program hit some notable results, including 8m grading 10.2 grams per tonne gold with a one metre interval running at over two ounces to the tonne from the Top Camp discovery.

Coziron Resources is looking to breathe life back into its unique, high-quality, Ashburton magnetite project, with drilling planned to deliver a maiden JORC compliant resource, just 40km from CITIC's massive Sino project. The company has identified extensive magnetite deposits at least 6km long and 1km wide at Ashburton, with encouraging analytical work that showed mass yields of magnetic iron content up to 42% and concentrate grades exceeding 67% iron.

Coziron Resources' rock chip sampling program at the Croydon Top Camp project in WA's Pilbara region has returned up to 12% copper, 2g/t gold and 0.34% cobalt at the newly named Martin prospect, which represents a drill-ready target. Sampling at the Top Camp prospect has also highlighted areas that are ready for an initial RC drilling program to delineate the subsurface rock-types and down-hole geochemistry.

Coziron Resources has uncovered large scale gold and copper anomalies at the Edamurta West and Copper Valley prospect areas within its broader Buddadoo project region southwest of Yalgoo in the Murchison. Edamurta West is defined by a 1.2km long geochemical soil anomaly elevated in gold, whilst Copper Valley lies within structural corridors that returned rock chip assays up to 15.2% copper and 1.2g/t gold.

Coziron Resources' assays of historic auger drilling at the Croydon Top Camp gold project in the Pilbara have returned a maximum result of 25g/t gold compared to the historic 8g/t gold originally produced. Upgraded levels of “pathfinder elements” for lode-style gold mineralisation were also encountered with results from the re-assaying of 182 auger pulps across the project to be used to help discern new drill targets.
