The Honourable Justice Robert Mazza was appointed to the Supreme Court of Western Australia on 8 March 2010, after serving six years as a judge of the District Court. He was appointed a Justice of Appeal on 16 December 2011.
Justice Mazza was admitted to practise law in Western Australia in December 1981. He was employed as a solicitor with the firms of James Mazza and Company and Mazza McCallum and Robinson from 1981 to 1984. He went on to become a partner of Mazza McCallum and Robinson from 1984 through to 1987 and later established the firm Mazza and Mazza with his father in 1997.
Justice Mazza was deputy president of the Equal Opportunity Tribunal from 2002 to 2004, and deputy president of The Australasian Institute of Judicial Administrators.
He holds a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Western Australia.
