Robbie Miniter OAM is a proud Goreng man who knows the Great Southern region of Western Australia well, having been born in Gnowangerup where he lives with his wife and four daughters.
He has extensive experience working towards development in the Great Southern region, and has a wealth of experience engaging with a range of stakeholders through his work in the Waalitj Foundation (formerly Wirrpanda Foundation); Department of Local Government, Sports and Cultural Industries; Department of Communities; Minderoo Foundation; Telethon Kids Institute ;and private businesses.
Mr Miniter is the recipient of numerous awards for his work in community. In 2020, he was awarded a Medal of the Order of Australia for service to the Indigenous community of Western Australia.
