Richard Quinlan has over 30 years of experience in conducting trials and disseminating research findings to farming businesses within Western Australia.
Prior to becoming the head of trials and market development at Rumin8 in February 2023, Mr Quinlan was a partner, director and lead agronomist of Australian agriculture advisory firm Planfarm where over a 20-year tenure, he had consulted to farm businesses spread across the northern agriculture region of Western Australia. He worked with farm businesses in all technical aspects of crop and animal production to improve its water-use efficiency which includes crop rotation planning and management as well as fertiliser, chemical and disease management. Mr Quinlan had also spent over 7 years as a senior agronomist at Elders, and 3 years as an advisor and research officer at the Department of Agriculture.
He holds a Bachelor of Agricultural Science majoring in Land Resource Management.
