Richard Murray

Richard Murray is a Chartered Accountant with over 25 years of experience in retail and finance.

Mr Murray joined JB Hi-Fi as chief financial officer in 2003 and took the business through the IPO process, becoming a board member in 2012 and chief executive in July 2014. Prior to JB Hi-Fi, Mr Murray worked with Deloitte for 10 years and was an associate director in the corporate finance group.

He is chair of Workplace Giving Australia's Leadership Group, which aims to encourage Australian businesses to set up workplace giving programs.
