ASX-listed PharmAust continues to receive positive news from the ongoing Phase IIb trial of its “Monepantel” anti-cancer drug trial on dogs. The clinical-stage oncology company said the interim analysis of its drug trial provided further supportive evidence of the blood plasma levels of the Monepantel drug required to suppress B-cell lymphoma growth in pet owner's dogs.

ASX and Frankfurt Stock Exchange-listed PharmAust has unveiled encouraging initial results from the continuing phase IIb clinical trial of its anti-cancer drug, Monepantel on pet dogs suffering from B-cell lymphoma. The Perth-based company says the first five dogs who have undergone treatment with Monepantel across five participating test sites show “minimal side effects”.

ASX-listed clinical-stage biotech group, PharmAust has put out a call to pet owners who have dogs with B-cell lymphoma to allow their pets to participate in a Phase IIb trial to help the company evaluate its newly formulated anti-cancer drug Monepantel. PharmAust says recent trials have shown the drug is a safe and effective treatment for dogs that have not undergone any treatment for this type of cancer.

ASX-listed clinical-stage oncology group, PharmAust has extended its pre-clinical studies collaboration with the Olivia Newton-John Cancer Research Institute as they work towards determining how effectively PharmAust's Monepantel drug combats cancer cells.

ASX-listed pharmaceutical innovator, PharmAust, will begin manufacturing Monepantel tablets for two important Phase 1 and Phase 2 human trials to study the drug's impact on Motor Neuron Disease and certain cancers. It will be the first time PharmAust has used its Monepantel drug in tablet form to investigate its anti-cancer activity in humans.
