Renato Fabretti graduated as an actor from the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts in 2005. He has starred in numerous shows for Deckchair Theatre Company and the State Theatre Company of South Australia where he was awarded the Equity Guild Award as Best Supporting Actor, a nomination for Best Newcomer, and a Horatio Award as Best Supporting Actor in King Lear.
Mr Fabretti toured for Bell Shakespeare across Australia and while working as an actor, he has also managed and directed his own company independent theatre company This One Show.
Mr Fabretti completed a postgraduate in Directing at the National Institute of Dramatic Arts and is working on several new film projects as writer and producer as well as with young local companies like The Cutting Room Floor to place their works in new and exciting performance spaces across Perth.
In July 2020, he became a director, producer and heads the creative team at Fremantle Theatre Company.
