Ray Kuka has been with the Seven Network for over two decades, having initially joined the network's Brisbane news team as an intern during his degree.  

Over his time with the Seven network, he has worked in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth, London and China.  

He was appointed deputy news director in 2017, director of news in 2018 and National News Director in 2025.
