Ragnar Udd spent over 25 years in the global resources industry in Australia and North America, and has strong operational and leadership experience.
Mr Udd joined BHP in 1997 and has held a number of senior leadership positions across the operations, logistics, projects, infrastructure and technology functions. He was asset president of BHP Mitsubishi Alliance (BMA) in 2015, vice president of technology global transformation in October 2018, acting chief technology officer in December 2019, and president of Minerals for the Americas in November 2020. He was also president of the Queensland Resources Council from 2016 to 2019. Prior to BHP, he had held roles in the base metals industry.
