Pol Le Roux was announced as interim chief executive of Lynas Rare Earths in June of 2026.
Prior to his appointment, Mr Le Roux held the role of chief operating officer where he was responsible for Lynas' operating sites, including the Mt Weld mine and concentration plant and Kalgoorlie Rare Earths Processing Facility in WA, as well as Lynas Malaysia's advanced materials plant in Kuantan, Malaysia.
He joined Lynas in late 2010 and oversaw the company's operations across Australia and Malaysia, previously holding positions at French chemicals company Rhône Poulenc in manufacturing, strategy, innovation, marketing and sales.
