Peter Shear has experience in funds management, financial advisory and lending arrangements including leveraged finance, property development and debt workout situations.
Prior to becoming the managing partner of Archibald Capital in November 2020, Mr Shear was co-managing partner of Opportunistic Lending and Special Situations at LIM Advisors; chief risk officer, managing director & head of corporate and structured finance at Lloyds Banking Group (and its predecessor HBOS) in Australia; and partner in corporate finance & restructuring at Ernst & Young.
Mr Shear has a Bachelor of Business from the University of Technology Sydney, and an Executive MBA from AGSM. He is a member of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand, a Fellow of FINSIA, and a graduate member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
