Peter Fogarty has diversified business interests across wine, corporate advisory, property, water and agriculture. He is proprietor of Fogarty Wine Group, which is one of WA’s largest wine producers; chair of Pendulum Capital (part of Pendulum Group); chair of land developer Riverside Investments, and water company Muchea Water; and chair of PenAgri Group, a farm, renewables and carbon investor.
His family investment company, together with local investors the Rhodes and Shannahan families, redeveloped The Lodge Wadjemup, a 109 room hotel on Rottnest Island.
Mr Fogarty commenced his career as a lawyer in 1974. He spent 16 years running ASX-listed ERG, which built a global business developing and supplying public transport ticketing systems. He left ERG in 2003 and the business is now in private hands.
