Peter Coppini has over 30 years of experience in the accounting profession within Australia and overseas (Dubai). Mr Coppini has spent most of his career in the property development and mining industries, but also has experience in manufacturing, consumer goods and professional services.
Mr Coppini served as company secretary at Decmil Group prior to its acquisition by Macmahon Holdings in 2024. He was senior financial controller of Griffin Coal Mining Company from 2013 to 2023. Prior to that, Mr Coppini spent more than 5 years with Port Bouvard as a financial controller and company secretary.
He has volunteered as company secretary of Breast Cancer Research Centre – WA, and as school advisory council member (treasurer) of Holy Rosary School in Doubleview.
Mr Coppini is a chartered accountant, chartered secretary, fellow of the Governance Institute of Australia, and lawyer admitted in the Supreme Court of WA; and holds degrees in accounting and finance, law, an MBA, and Graduate Diploma of Applied Corporate Governance.
