Paul Kiley has over 35 years of commercial experience in the mining, energy and oil & gas fields.
He spent 5 years as chief financial officer and company secretary of Hillgrove Resources, 17 years with Normandy and Newmont in a number of senior roles including as director of corporate development for Asia Pacific, general manager of business development, commercial manager (India) and general manager of risk. He also spent six years in senior roles with Occidental Oil & Gas, working in both Australia and the US.
On leaving Newmont, Mr Kiley established his own consulting business and carried out a number of contract roles including a further two years as Newmont's director of corporate development; commercial manager for the Southdown Magnetite joint venture where he managing the commercial aspects of the Southdown project through the pre-feasibility and feasibiity studies; and conducting a competitive gas tender for Grange Resources and providing corporate development advice to Wolf Minerals.
