DroneShield's entire suite of anti-drone products has been placed on the GSA Schedule, allowing US Government agencies to purchase its drone combating products at pre-negotiated prices and purchase terms without going through a competitive process. Its products have also been placed in the GSA advantage catalogue which allows authorised Governmental employees to purchase them online.

DroneShield will help create a new version of Intelligent Security Integration's flagship Rapid Scout HQ vehicle that could be the first non-military vehicle with a suite of counter-drone multisensory detect and defeat solutions. Rapid Scout HQ vehicles and their associated Rapid Scout surveillance sensors are designed for use where traditional CCTV has limited or no coverage.

Droneshield has secured an additional patent in the U.S. covering its ground breaking developments in the acoustic detection of drones. The company has four other U.S. patents for its counterdrone technologies. If drones are going to be big then anti-drone technologies will be just as big and Droneshield owns the space currently.

DroneShield has won a $3.2m order for 70 of its drone disabling DroneGuns from a Western allied Middle Eastern Ministry of Defence that has one of the largest defence budgets in the world. This is the company's largest order to date and serves to not only validate its products but also may lead to further orders.

DroneShield's suite of drone-combatting products have been given the green light by an independent US laboratory to protect US airports from potentially lethal aerial threats posed by incoming aerial drones. The company says its drone detection systems were deemed compatible with US aviation and airport communication and navigation systems by leading North American radiofrequency testing facility, 360RF.

DroneShield has set up a demonstration hub for its cutting-edge range of anti-drone products in the Netherlands where the NATO Joint Force is headquartered. Queensland Police will use ASX-listed DroneShield's sci-fi looking drone combatting rifles at the Commonwealth games to protect athletes from potentially lethal aerial intruders. In other developments DroneShield has applauded the Australian Government's efforts to stimulate defence industry manufacturing and exports by adopting an innovative new Defence Export Strategy policy.

A NATO decision to catalogue ASX listed Droneshield's anti-drone gun and issue the aerial drone-combatting device with a stock number has opened up a window of potential sales opportunities for the company. Up to 29 NATO aligned militaries and other non-aligned forces, will now be encouraged to purchase the product with increased confidence, without first having to first put it through a rigorous testing procedure.

ASX-listed DroneShield has taken another major step with its cutting-edge anti-drone military hardware, winning a Paraguay Government tender for its drone defence products. The new product has been launched as a complimentary weapon to DroneShield's DroneGun MKII, both of which are able to force a drone to land or return to base. The ASX junior with a market cap of just $30m has carved out a suite of products that both detect and disable unmanned drones. The company's stationary mounted “Drone Sentry” looks like a sci-fi version of ET and the “DroneGun” looks a bit like the ultimate warrior's hand held machine gun – albeit it doesn't shoot bullets.
