Dr Nicholas Lindsay has over 30 years of experience in the global mining industry with strong exposure in South America. He has held roles with junior mining companies, as well as mid-tier and major organisations. During the two-decade period, Mr Lindsay focussed on technical and commercial assessment, and the development of new mining and exploration projects in various commodities particularly copper, gold and silver. He also has significant experience in the recognition, assessment and management of new business opportunities in the copper, zinc, gold, titanium mineral sands, coal and iron ore sectors. Further to senior roles in Peru, Chile and Argentina, Dr Lindsay has also held positions in the Former Soviet Union, South Africa and Australia.
He has a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Geology, an MBA from the University of Otago (New Zealand), and a PhD from the University of the Witwatersrand (South Africa). Dr Lindsay is also a member of the AusIMM and the Australian Institute of Geoscientists.
