Dr Miles Jakeman AM has over 30 years of industry experience including 17 years as a director on multiple boards. He has experience in business strategy, leadership, team development and risk management. His experience is in guiding technology and software companies through phases of expansion, dealing with both Government and private sector clients.
Dr Jakeman is chair of GetBusy (AIM:GetB), deputy chair of The Citadel Group (ASX:CGL) and was its managing director between 2007 and 2016. He also held directorships at Midnight Basketball Australia (2013-2015), The Kokoda Foundation (2006-2011), ACT Capital Angels (2003-2010) and The Lippo Group International (LippoOnline) (1999-2000). Dr Jakeman was also managing director of JBS, and executive director & chief executive of The Lippo Group International (LippoOnline).
Dr Jakeman co-founded and was the chief executive of Australian software and technology company, The Citadel Group.
In 2020, he was awarded a Member of the Order of Australia for his significant service to business, to national security, and to the community.
