Mike Symons
Non-Executive Director / VGW Holdings
Prior to co-founding Canterbury Partners in 2003, Mike Symons was an associate director of NM Rothschild & Sons (Australia) private equity business from 1998 to 2002. He was also an executive director of listed The Environmental Group between 2000 and 2003. Before that Mr Symons was Senior Manager at Arthur Andersen, where his area of expertise was corporate recovery and turnaround consulting, developed over 9 years’ employment with Arthur Andersen.
He was educated at Wesley College, Melbourne, completed a Bachelor of Commerce at Melbourne University in 1989, is a fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and a qualified chartered accountant.
