Michael Shanahan

Michael Shanahan is the lead forensic partner of McGrathNicol Perth. He helps organisations prevent, detect and respond to sensitive and complex forensic matters which includes investigating fraud and misconduct, fraud risk management, commercial and contractual disputes, bribery and corruption issues, financial analysis and forensic technology assignments including proactive data analytic assignments to identify irregularities.

Industry experience includes the mining, oil and gas, financial services and government sectors.

Mr Shanahan also has experience assisting Australian-based mining clients in dealing with forensic issues, especially bribery and corruption, at their African and Asian operations.
