Ms Horne has more than 35 years experience in business, including strategy development and execution, leadership, operations, sales, customer service, marketing, and product development. Maxine has received several awards and honours throughout her career, including the Courier Mail Business Person of the Year in 2019, induction into the Businesswoman's Hall of Fame in 2016, the EY Entrepreneur of the Year Award (Northern Region) in 2014, QBR Business Woman of the Year in 2006 and the President's Award at the NSW Australian Retail Association Awards for Excellence in 2005.
