Matthew Woodall is a lawyer specialising in corporate and commercial law.
He holds a Bachelor of Laws from the University of WA and a Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice.
Mr Woodall was a committee member of the Law Society of WA and a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
He was elected a councillor at the City of Melville in 2015 and was deputy mayor for a term from 2017.
In December 2020, Mr Woodall won local pre-selection as the Liberal Party candidate for Bateman District following the retirement of former shadow treasurer Dean Nalder but lost to WA Labor at the 2021 state election.
