Matthew Holcz has been with Rio Tinto since July 2007. He started in commercial roles at the London office before moving to Peru as general manager of projects in July 2012. Mr Holcz returned to Perth and became Rio Tinto's general manager of operations in January 2015, managing director of operations and technical support in January 2018, and managing director of Pilbara Mines in January 2021.
