Matthew Battrick

Matthew Battrick has over 35 years of Australian and international oil and gas industry experience. He was the managing director and chief executive of Sun Resources NL and during his 8-year tenure, he managed the capital raising of over A$40 million and successfully delivered a strategic shift in business direction. Mr Battrick had a long international career with both major and large independent oil and gas companies (LASMO, Ampolex, ExxonMobil) before joining ASX-listed Pancontinental Oil & Gas NL in 2004 as exploration manager prior to becoming general manager. He obtained a Bachelors degree in Geology from the Royal Melbourne University of Technology.
