Matt Owen

Matthew Owen is a Chartered Accountant and Governance Professional with over 25 years of experience in finance leadership positions across a range of industries including investment banking, resources, energy and manufacturing at both ASX-listed and private companies.

He is also an experienced finance executive, with a strong operational background in an ASX-listed environment.

Prior to becoming the chief financial officer of Flinders Mines in December 2022, Mr Owen was the chief financial officer of resource development company Vimy Resources where he assisted in the successful completion of the company’s merger with Deep Yellow.
