Mark Wheatley is an experienced resources company chief executive, non-executive director and chair with a career spanning more than 30 years in mining and related industries. He has worked in the uranium industry since 2003 and been involved in ISR project exploration, feasibility studies, start up, production, rehabilitation and closure.
His uranium experience includes the roles of chair and chief executive of Southern Cross Resources, the operator of the Honeymoon ISR uranium project, non-executive director of Uranium One and Uranium Resources, and non-executive chair of Xanadu Mines.
Mr Wheatley holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Chemical Engineering) from the University of New South Wales, and a Master of Business Administration from West Virginia University.
