Mark Waller, co-founder and director of Forrest Private Wealth and SOT Corporate, has experience in the technology and financial services sector. He also has experience in listing a company, M&A and capital raisings.
Mr Waller is a CPA with a degree in Commerce majoring in Law and Accounting.
He joined Empired in 2005 as a chief financial officer before becoming a director, company secretary, and consultant. Mr Waller was responsible for Empired's financial aspects leading to the the initial public offering in 2007. Mr Waller worked for a small firm in public practice before moving to Ernst & Young in 2002. After a year, he moved to London to establish his own business in the construction industry which he ran for 18 months before selling the business and moving back to Perth.
In 2017, Mr Waller and his business partner started Forrest Private Wealth via the acquisition of three businesses. In 2018, he and his business partners launched SOT Corporate and SOT Business Brokers which provides advice on business growth, M&As, IPOs and buying/selling small businesses.
