Mark Ritter SC is a barrister who has practised in multiple areas including industrial and employment law, criminal law and native title.
Prior to joining Francis Burt Chambers in 2010, Mr Ritter was a member of Wickham Chambers from 1995 to 2005, and acting president of the Western Australian Industrial Relations Commission from October 2005 to December 2009. In 2017 and 2018, he conducted a Ministerial review of WA’s industrial relations system. He had also periodically tutored at the Legal Practice Board and lectured at the University of Western Australia in Ethics and Criminal Law.
Mr Ritter was admitted to practice in Western Australia in December 1985, appointed a senior counsel on 1 December 2004, and as a Judge of the District Court of Western Australia from February 2023.
