Mark Dimasi is an experienced project and construction manager with over 22 years of experience in management positions within the engineering, construction and asset management services industry.
Mr Dimasi became the managing director of SIMPEC in July 2017. SIMPEC is a subsidiary of WestStar Industrial.
Prior to that, he was with UGL for 22 years where he successfully executed the delivery of major process and infrastructure projects for blue-chip clients with exposure across all commodities. He was the construction manager of the SMP installation contract for the Darwin Ichthys (Inpex) LNG project MEC-1 Package – UGL / Kentz Joint Venture where he was responsible for the construction of 2 X LNG trains and Inlet facility. An LTI Free project worth more than $1b, expending more than 7M+ manhours with a crew size in excess of 2000 personnel.
