
Malcolm Castle has over 50 years of experience in exploration geology and property evaluation, including 20 years as an exploration geologist and over 30 years as a consultant. He also has wide experience in a number of commodities including iron ore, gold, base metals, uranium and mineral sands. Mr Castle has been responsible for project discovery through to feasibility study and development in Indonesia and the Pilbara in Western Australia, and technical audits in many countries.
He was a founding member and permanent employee of Fortescue Metals Group until 2010, as technical services manager for expansion projects and was an integral member of the team developing the definitive feasibility study for startup projects at Cloudbreak and Christmas Creek.
Mr Castle holds a Bachelor in Applied Geology from the University of New South Wales, a Bachelor of Science with Honours, postgraduate studies with the Securities Institute of Australia, and a Graduate Certificate in Applied Finance and Investment. He has been a Member of the AusIMM for over 50 years.
