Liam Twigger has over 30 years of experience in investment banking, corporate finance, and the not-for-profit sector.
Mr Twigger was a professional footballer with Swindon Town FC in the UK before moving into corporate finance and establishing Macquarie Bank’s bullion and commodities division in Perth in 1994. He then led Bankers Trust’s investment banking activities in Western Australia. In 1999, Mr Twigger became a founding principal of corporate advisory and investment banking firm PCF Capital Group, which later merged with Argonaut in July 2021 and he was appointed deputy chair.
Mr Twigger was a WA State League soccer player and a state representative at both senior and junior levels. He was chair of Football West, stepping down in 2019 after 11 years on the board including 6 years as chair, and appointed chair of SportWest in December 2023.
