Larissa Strk has significant expertise in insolvency, corporate restructuring and banking litigation. Her practice also included complex and contentious land access and tenure matters.
Her work included expedition of the grant of tenure, together with the approvals necessary for the construction of significant infrastructure including rail.
Ms Strk has been the principal registrar of Supreme Court of Western Australia since 2016, and was sworn in as acting master in February 2021. In June 2021, Ms Strk was appointed a judge of the Supreme Court of Western Australia.
Prior to her appointments at the Supreme Court of WA, Ms Strk was a partner in the Perth dispute resolution group of King & Wood Mallesons where she specialised in commercial litigation and gained significant experience as an advocate and in the provision of complex strategic advice.
Ms Strk was recognised by Best Lawyers in Australia 2015-16 in the areas of insolvency and reorganisation law, litigation, commercial law, and alternative dispute resolution; as a Leading Litigation and Dispute Resolution Lawyer in Doyle's WA Litigation Market Rankings for 2015, and a Recommended Practitioner in the Doyle's WA Insolvency Legal Market Rankings for 2015.
