Santos on the road to Dorado
Engineering work for the $US2 billion Dorado oil and gas project will soon get under way, proponent Santos said, with a final decision due mid-2022.
Kevin Gallagher has over 25 years of experience in managing oil and gas operations in Australia, the US, North and West Africa.
A qualified mechanical engineer, he commenced his career as a drilling engineer with Mobil North Sea before joining Woodside in 1998. During his 13-year tenure with Woodside, he rose to the positions of executive vice president of the North West Shelf Business Unit and chief executive of North West Shelf Venture. Mr Gallagher then spent over 4 years as chief executive of Clough before joining Santos as managing director in February 2016.
