Katherine Hirschfeld AM is a qualified chemical engineer and is internationally experienced in non-executive and executive capacities. She has senior executive experience derived from an international career with BP which encompassed leadership and executive roles in oil refining, logistics, exploration and production. Ms Hirschfeld has a strong track record of creating value in complex, global manufacturing businesses as well as safety, operations and risk management. She was managing director of BP Refinery (Bulwer Island) and a non-executive director of InterOil Corporation, Broadspectrum, ASC, Snowy Hydro, and Refining New Zealand. In 2019, Ms Hirschfeld was awarded a Member of the Order of Australia for significant service to engineering, to women, and to business.
