Kate Thompson

Kate Thompson has more than 20 years of experience as a corporate and legal advisor, specialising in mergers and acquisitions. Prior to joining MH Carnegie & Co, Ms Thompson was a director of Lazard Australia, and senior legal counsel and head of compliance at Lazard Australia for private equity and corporate advisory. She also spent a number of years at law firms Mallesons and Freehills prior to joining Carnegie Wylie & Co. Ms Thompson is chair of Carsingha Investments (owner of the Entertainment Quarter, Moore Park) and serves on a number of portfolio company boards. She holds a Bachelor of Laws (Hons) from Bond University.
