Julie Fahey has more than 30 years of experience in technology and the management of large-scale transformation programs. She was national managing partner, markets and national lead partner, telecommunications, media & technology for KPMG. Prior to her leadership roles with KPMG, Ms Fahey's executive career spanned a range of roles including chief information officer of General Motors Holden (Australia) and deputy managing director of SAP Australia. She retired from the KPMG partnership in 2014. Since that time, Ms Fahey has undertaken a number of independent engagements including acting as consultant and adviser to a number of corporate and state government entities in relation to major transformation programs and IT capability. Ms Fahey is a non-executive director with IRESS, Seek, a small number of IT&T companies, and a not-for-profit organisation.
