Julian Hobba

Julian Hobba has a range of theatre making and producing experience. He was executive director of The Blue Room Theatre in Perth from 2017-2020. He was also the program manager of arts and culture for the Centenary of Canberra, a year long city-of-culture style festival under the creative directorship of Robyn Archer AO, company manager at Malthouse Theatre. Mr Hobba has maintained a playwriting practice throughout his career with work performed independently in Melbourne and Canberra with Aspen Island Theatre Company, which he established in 2013.
