John Worsfold is a former Australian rules football player and coach best known for his career for the West Coast Eagles in the Australian Football League (AFL). He was an inaugural squad member of West Coast Eagles on their formation in 1986, won the club's best and fairest award in 1988, appointed captain of the club in 1991 until his retirement in 1998. During that period, Mr Worsfold played in 209 games and was in the 1992 and 1994 premiership sides. He also appeared in five State of Origin matches for Western Australia, including captaining his state twice. Mr Worsfold was assistant coach of Carlton Football Club from 1999 to 2001 and senior coach of the Essendon Bombers from October 2015 to October 2020.
Post-football, Mr Worsfold became manager of people and culture at Emeco Holdings in February 2021.
