John McKechnie
Hon John McKechnie QC was commissioner of the Corruption and Crime Commission WA from April 2015 to April 2020 after a parliamentary committee declined to unanimously endorse his reappointment for another 5-year term. He was reappointed as commissioner in June 2021.
Prior to that, Mr McKechnie was a Justice of the Supreme Court of Western Australia, and WA's first director of public prosecutions.
